The job role:
As an Electronics Technician (Industrial Engineering), you’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising our production facilities and systems. You’ll carry out inspections, fault analysis, and electrical troubleshooting to ensure smooth and reliable operation. You’ll also install and commission new machinery, support process improvements, and uphold the highest safety standards across all maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Regularly maintain, inspect, and repair our complex production facilities, machines, and industrial engineering systems.
- Fault analysis and troubleshooting in the event of malfunctions, accurately locating faults in electrical and electronic systems and rectifying them independently.
- Install new systems, machines, and components and put them into operation.
- Play an active role in optimising and modernising our production processes and systems.
- Keep careful records of maintenance work, repairs, and malfunctions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed vocational training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering, industrial electronics technician or have a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the maintenance of production facilities, preferably in an industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of PLC controls, drive technology, sensor technology and electro-pneumatics/electro-hydraulics.
- Able to analyse technical problems independently and find effective solutions.
- A reliable team player and strong communicator.
- Willing and able to work early and late shifts, and if necessary, be on call.
- Precise and conscientious approach.
