The Job Role
As a Hardness and Marking Operator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our products meet exacting quality standards before they progress to the next stage of production. Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you’ll operate specialist machinery, maintain detailed test records, and uphold a clean, safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Operate hardness testing and marking machines to defined specifications.
- Record and report hardness test results accurately.
- Book work through to subsequent manufacturing operations.
- Ensure all operations meet customer drawings and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support production efficiency.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and report risks where necessary.
- Carry out additional duties as needed within the scope of the role.
