The job role:

As a Production Employee (Metal Saw), you’ll operate and monitor modern metal saws to cut rods and profiles with precision. You’ll load raw materials, remove finished parts, perform quality checks, and adjust machines as needed. You’ll also carry out minor maintenance, ensure safety standards are met, and work with your team to optimise production processes.

Key responsibilities: 

• Operating and monitoring our modern metal saws (e.g. band saws, circular saws) for the precise processing of metal rods and profiles.
• Loading the machines with raw materials and removing the sawn parts.
• Regular quality control of the sawn workpieces (dimensional accuracy, cut quality).
• Setting and adjusting the sawing machines work order.
• Troubleshooting minor malfunctions and performing simple maintenance work on the equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and order in the workplace.
• Working with the team to optimise production processes.

Requirements:

• Initial professional experience in operating sawing machines or in the metal sector is an advantage. Career changers with technical understanding are also welcome.
• Technical skills and good spatial awareness.
• Careful and precise working style with a high level of quality awareness.
• Willing and able to work early and late shifts.
• Reliability, ability to work in a team and an independent working style.
