The job role:
As a Production Worker (Forge), you’ll operate and load our metal presses, preparing materials and handling finished workpieces safely and efficiently. You’ll assist with machine set-up, carry out visual inspections, and help maintain clean, well-organised work areas. With a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork, you’ll play an important part in keeping our production running smoothly.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating and loading our metal presses for forming raw materials.
- Preparing and providing material for the pressing process.
- Removing, storing and transporting the pressed workpieces in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assisting with machine set-up and changeover work.
- Cleaning and maintaining the work areas and tools.
- Carrying out visual inspections of the manufactured parts.
- Compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Physical resilience and manual dexterity.
- Willing and able to work early and late shifts.
- A basic technical understanding is an advantage.
- Reliability, motivation and a committed approach to work.
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn new things.
