A Year of Community, Care and Commitment Across the Cooper Turner Beck Group

As we bring the year to a close, it’s a moment to reflect on what sits at the heart of the Cooper Turner Beck Group: our people, our communities, and the culture we continue to build together.

Across all business units, 2025 has been shaped by acts of generosity, teamwork and local engagement - often quiet, sometimes unseen, but always meaningful. These moments demonstrate a truth we hold closely: being dependable is not just a standard we uphold in our industry, but a value we live out every day in the places we call home.

The stories below capture just some of the ways our teams have supported one another and their communities over the past 12 months.

Strengthening Community Connections at Beck Prosper

At Beck Prosper, supporting the communities around us remains a central part of who we are. This year, the team made a meaningful contribution to Beth’s Sunflowers, a local charity dedicated to raising awareness of blood cancers and supporting families affected by these conditions. The sunflower - Beth’s favourite flower - is now a symbol of hope and resilience, and we were proud to donate £150 to help advance the charity’s incredible work.

Community spirit continued in full force at our Macmillan Coffee Morning, where cakes, coffee and generosity filled the room. Thanks to the efforts of our talented bakers and enthusiastic attendees, the event raised £222 for Macmillan Cancer Support. It was another reminder of how small acts, done collectively, can have a real impact.

As winter approached, the Beck Prosper team also rallied behind Giving Hands, a local charity providing essential items to people experiencing hardship. Through donations and fundraising, the team helped ensure families across the region receive the support they need during a challenging time of year.

Our commitment to local involvement extended beyond fundraising, too. This season, we proudly sponsored Kewford Eagles North U13s, a Kingswinford-based football team. Their first 3–0 cup win was a brilliant milestone, and we look forward to cheering them on in the rounds ahead. Supporting young people to grow, compete and succeed is something that resonates strongly across the CTB Group.

And in a moving show of inclusion and kindness, Beck Prosper employees came together to raise funds for The Brier School, which supports children with complex learning needs, and Guide Dogs for the Blind. The team raised £162, matched by Beck Prosper to bring the total to £324, alongside a donation of four Dudley Zoo tickets. A heartfelt message from The Brier School captured the impact of the support: five guide dog puppies sponsored, and even more lives set to change as fundraising continues.

Celebrating Milestones and Giving Back Across the CTB Group

Across the wider CTB Group, people and culture stood out as defining themes of the year.

In Sheffield, the Cooper & Turner team gathered for a special day recognising contribution, long service and charitable spirit. We celebrated the retirement of Robert Wormley, marking an impressive 16-year career, and honoured Simon Smith and Chris Jones as they each reached 25 years with the business. These milestones reflect long-standing dedication and pride in craftsmanship - qualities that underpin CTB Group’s reputation today.

The event also included a charity raffle in support of Cash for Kids, raising £500 to provide food and activities for children during school holidays. Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved - and to the organisers who made the day possible - the event was a true expression of the community-minded culture we strive to uphold.

Elsewhere in the group, colleagues joined the first-ever Manufacturing Charity Ball, hosted by Elevation Recruitment Group in support of Weston Park Cancer Charity. Together, the event raised over £50,000: a remarkable achievement that speaks to the strength of collaboration across our sector. We were proud to attend and to contribute to a cause that supports so many families throughout our region.

The spirit of giving continued with the Christmas Toys Appeal for Rotherham Families First, where employees donated gifts to bring joy to children across the local community. These moments of generosity, especially at this time of year, show the difference that thoughtful, collective action can make.

A Culture of Care, Carried Forward

Taken together, these stories paint a clear picture: across every site and business unit, our people have demonstrated compassion, resilience and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.

Whether fundraising for life-changing causes, supporting local families, celebrating long service, or encouraging the next generation, each contribution plays a part in shaping who we are as the Cooper Turner Beck Group. Reliable in our work. Responsible in our actions. And committed to the communities that surround us.

As we look ahead to the coming year, we do so with gratitude - for the people who bring our values to life and for the communities who inspire us to keep doing better.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy and goodwill in 2025. We look forward to building on this momentum together in 2026.
