The Job Role
In this role you will be responsible for operating CNC turning machines to manufacture repeat components to specification. This role contributes to the operational effectiveness and strategic objectives of CTB Group, while acting in alignment with the company values of Safety, Team Work, Accountability, Respect, and Trust (START).
Key Attributes
- Previous experience operating CNC turning machines
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls
- Ability to work at a steady, methodical pace
- Comfortable with repetitive production work
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable and able to work independently
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CNC turning machine using Fanuc controls.
- Machines:
- CNC horizontal lathes
- Doosan Lynx 220L - X&Z axis only
- Hyundai Wia SSE2200M - X, Z and C axis with live tooling functions
- Manufacture repeat components to set specifications
- Load and unload materials and parts
- Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent quality
- Carry out basic inspections of finished parts
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Follow all health & safety procedures
