The Job Role

As a Warehouse Operative / Sub-Con Picker/Packer, you will support the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring orders are picked, checked, packed and prepared accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for handling materials and products safely, maintaining quality and traceability requirements, and helping to keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe. The role will also involve loading and moving materials, including the use of forklift trucks and other company vehicles where required. This role contributes to the operational effectiveness and strategic objectives of CTB Group, while acting in alignment with the company values of Safety, Team Work, Accountability, Respect, and Trust (START).

Key Responsibilities

The duties listed below are not in order of priority or importance and are not intended to restrict or prioritise the activities of the working day.

• Pick and weigh parts from stock locations, checking order requirements and ensuring the correct quality standards are met.
• Assemble and pack orders in line with customer specifications and required quality standards.
• Load materials and parts onto vehicles for movement and delivery to the relevant destinations.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy working environment for colleagues and visitors, ensuring all health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Complete any training required to support the safe and efficient performance of your duties and your ongoing development.
• Operate forklift trucks and other company vehicles for loading and delivery purposes, where required and appropriately trained.
• Package products, make boxes and apply labels accurately to maintain full traceability of packed products.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
